EDIT—-The price has DOUBLED since I bought my first comforter 3 years ago and although I love these comforters I just now purchased another brand comforter today because I refuse to participate in their inflation hike to this LEVEL!!!I am on my 5th comforter (bought two for gifts because I can’t rave enough about them ) and purchasing another one in the 3 years. They hold up during wash but I do like to buy brand new every year. I buy two at a time and sleep on the soft silky side Instead of a fitted sheet. I have no idea how these other reviews for damages occur they probably sell thousands of these because all of mine have been in perfect condition. Just buy it I promise you won’t be sorry.I love this bedding, is easy to wash - fits in the machine, is super soft and just the right temperature - with A/C. The only caveat is that it should be dried on low heat or no heat...to maintain the fluff. Since it has synthetic materials, it could melt in the dryer - losing its softness.Is like sleeping on a teddy bear.The material is soft and super warm if you’re room always cold. It’s light weight but it makes me sweat sometimes due to the material made from it. I still love it. I usually do two blankets but from this one. This one is enough to make me warm when it’s cold.So I live in an apartment and this was a bit bulky for my washer and dryer, but I washed it before use on the delicate setting using dreft detergent and rotated it every 15 minutes in my dryer and it came out great. It’s not light weight like a fleece blanket, but not as heavy as a comforter. The plush side is super comfy, but can get very warm so keep that in mind if you tend to get hot in the middle of the night. All in all, this isn’t bad for an Amazon buy. I would purchase it again.Parent gave me this for me and my husband , and it’s so SOFT ! I wish it was a big heavier but other then that loved it !Purchased this for my sons bed at home as a surprise when he came home from college. He loves it and so do I! It’s a beautiful shade of black and is SO soft!! Fits perfectly as well.This blanket is just what we wanted. It's soft and has already taken a lot of abuse from my kids. However, after a gentle use of precisely two months, 1. The comforter turned to bit a harder side 2. Stitching started coming off 3. The inner side started to feel rough than beforeI got this yesterday and oh my goodness I had the best sleep ever. I woke up refreshed and happy. The feeling of the blanket is so perfect and cozy, the pillow shams are just wonderful on your face just really soft. I love the coloring of the blanket as it matches my sheets. It's 100% dark grey. No greenish color to it.This is by far the best purchase I have ever placed with Amazon! If you love soft silky cozy things.. This is for you. It also snags very easily, and when it does, a full tear opens up. I tried returning it, but the product is not eligible for returns. It is an utter piece of garbage and waste of money.
