I bought from an Amazon a Marimekko duvet queen size, 96x92 inches, quite a bit bigger than the typical duvet insert/comforter (88x88). With throw pillows, the experts say buy one size bigger insert than cover, e.g., 18x18 cover takes a 20x20 insert. My old down comforter was too small for my new duvet cover, but this pretty, well-priced, Royal Hotel "oversize queen" comforter at 98x92 worked perfectly. It's soft, it's fluffy (great for aesthetics), and it's sufficiently warm for its all-season label.
